The Employment Development Department (EDD) has changed banks, and is now issuing unemployment, disability, and paid family leave benefit payments to a Money Network prepaid debit card. Learn more at edd.ca.gov/Debitcard
As of February 15, 2024, EDD stopped funding new benefits onto Bank of America prepaid debit cards. As a result of this change, Bank of America prepaid debit card accounts will be closed by May 5, 2024.
