• March 31, 2025 The last day to make a deposit on the Connections card. Card accounts with a zero balance will be closed automatically. Please note any companion cards will be closed as well.
• April 30, 2025 All deposits including direct deposit, in-branch deposit, tax refunds, or third-party deposits will be declined by the card processor.
• May 31, 2025 The last day to make purchases or receive funds immediately by withdrawing the remaining balance at a Synovus branch or ATM.
• June 1, 2025 All transactions will begin to be declined.
Remaining account balance may only be requested at a Synovus branch or by calling 888-SYNOVUS (796-6887). Please allow for up to 61 days to process the request and receive your funds.
