The Vault card is available to U.S. citizens or legal residents who are 18 years old or older, work for a participating employer, are enrolled in their employer's self-service portal and have a valid Social Security number. Prior to issuing you a card, we will collect your name, address, date of birth and other personal information in order to validate your identity. If we cannot validate your identity, you will not be issued a Vault card.††
Sign up for the Vault card through the Employee Self-Service® application provided by your employer. Once approved, you will receive a digital card that you can add to your smartphone's mobile wallet. A plastic card with your name will be mailed to you.
After your account is approved, we will mail a personalized Vault card to your address of record. Your Vault card should arrive within 7-10 business days. Your Vault card will arrive in a plain, white business envelope, so make sure to check your mail carefully.
When your personalized card arrives, you should activate it right away! To activate your Vault card, call customer service toll-free at 888-333-4698 or visit www.myvaultcard.com and create your online account.
You will need a personal identification number (PIN) to obtain cash at ATMs and make PIN purchases at merchants. You may select your PIN when you activate your Vault Card.
Yes, once you receive and activate your physical Vault card, your initial digital Vault card number will no longer be active, and you will need to update your card information in your preferred mobile wallet.
You may add funds to your card via direct deposit by providing the routing and account number assigned to your card to your employer or benefits provider, receive funds via electronic fund transfer from another financial institution or load cash at thousands of Green Dot® reload locations across the U.S.¶ Click here to find a Green Dot® cash reload location near you.
You may obtain cash without a fee at thousands of ATMs in the Allpoint® Network in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. You may also get cash at any ATM that displays the Visa® or PLUS logo; however, you may be charged a fee by the ATM owner as well as by us for this transaction. See the Cardholder Agreement at www.myvaultcard.com for details about the fees and cash withdrawal limits associated with your card. In addition, you also may obtain cash at any Visa® member bank by asking a bank teller for an over-the-counter cash withdrawal. You also may request cash back when you make a purchase at retailers offering this service; however, the retailer may charge a fee and have its own limit on the cash-back amount. To manage your account, visit our website at www.myvaultcard.com or download the Vault mobile app to your device. After creating your online or mobile profile, you can use the website or mobile app to view recent transactions, view your current balance, suspend or unsuspend your card if it is misplaced, and set up alerts to inform you of activity on your account.

No, the Vault card is not a credit card, and we do not check your credit when applying for the Vault card. The transactions you perform on your card are not reported to any credit reporting agency and will not impact your credit score.††
No, your employer does not have any access to your Vault card information, your balance or transaction history. Your Vault card may be loaded with funds from a new or additional employer if you desire. You may also deposit your tax refund and government benefits to your Vault card and receive funds transferred electronically from your bank account.
You must be at least 18 years old to apply for the Vault card.
You should immediately report your card lost or stolen by calling customer service toll-free at 888-333-4698. If you think your Vault card has been used to make fraudulent transactions, call customer service immediately at 888-333-4698. Check your Cardholder Agreement for your responsibility to report a lost or stolen card and about your liability for any unauthorized transactions.
Yes. Your Vault card may not be used for illegal online gambling or any other illegal transactions. We may also restrict purchases from certain restricted geographic or merchant locations where there is a higher risk of fraud or illegal activity. For more details about restrictions and limits related to your card, see your Cardholder Agreement.
Yes! Your Vault card may be added to your Apple Pay®, Google Pay® or Samsung Pay® mobile wallet. After successful enrollment, you will receive an email confirmation about adding your Vault card to your preferred mobile wallet. When you receive and activate your personalized plastic card, your initial digital Vault card number will no longer be active. You will need to update your card information in your preferred mobile wallet.

Yes. The funds on your Vault card are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to the maximum amount allowed by law through The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC.
*Early direct deposit availability depends on timing of payor's payment instructions, and fraud prevention restrictions may apply. We generally make these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to two days earlier than the scheduled payment date. As such, the availability or timing of early direct deposit may vary from pay period to pay period.
